    A pain in the neck for hard of hearing elderly folks

    This was a gift basket sent to my elderly parents for a specific occasion. They called me a week after the intended delivery date (making receipt of the package extremely late for the occasion) and explained that they couldn't hear the delivery person knocking on the door, their door bell doesn't work and they spend countless calls and effort to chase down their gift. They pleaded with me to stop ordering these baskets, the delivery of which creates a nightmare for them. I'll honor their request and not order gifts that contain alcohol for them again. It's just too much a pain in the neck for elderly folks.
